WEEKLY UPDATE

Sales have started slowing down a bit as the Summer crowds have departed and school has started up again. Inventory remains high and Buyers have lots of options right now. Updates on the loan front still seem daunting, as it looks like rates are projected to keep rising over the near future. This could continue to level off prices as we head into the Winter months and keep a cap on our hot market. Take a look at the Market snapshot below to see how month over month prices have changed - looks like a solid dip for the month of August. Buyers - it could be a good time to negotiate with a Seller that needs to make a move and is open to better pricing and terms. Receiving credits back from the Seller at closing can help buy down your interest rate and curb that higher monthly payment. There are different options for different scenarios and I'd love to offer a helping hand if you're curious what your next move should be. - Greg
