Things are still happening on the real estate front, but the market has taken a bit of a sluggish turn here in Central Oregon recently. This could come from a variety of factors; interest rates, families settling back into the school year and smoke from the wildfires rolling through. The inventory has filled in a bit as well offering more options for Buyers to browse through and in turn, more competition for Sellers. All in all, the market has continued to slowly shift. That being said, we have not completely settled back into a 'normal market' yet. We are still seeing prices hold strong compared to historical numbers and plenty of opportunity still exists. Both Buyers and Sellers could have much to gain if the time is right for them personally and if you've been tip toeing around for a while now, I don't recommend waiting or trying to "time the market" based on unknowns. If your curious what might make sense for you, give me a ring! I'll give you straight answers, with no pressure and let you decide what's best for you and your family. - Greg
