There are a few factors at play in this Spring's market that have stirred up some uncertainty with Sellers, including the conflict overseas, rising inflation, and the first rate increase in more than three years. From what I have seen, the housing market has continued to remain very strong and Sellers are looking well positioned to sell this season. I do predict interest rates to continue rising, which will cause Buyers to pull back on buying power, but at the end of the day, demand will continue to drive the market upward. Inventory will seasonally fill in a bit as the weather gets warmer, so hopefully there will be more to choose from in the coming months. Expect home prices to continue appreciating, but begin to slow down a bit throughout the year.
