The weather this past week in Central Oregon was beautiful, with sunny days and the first real glimpse of Spring ahead. Interestingly enough, it feels like it has started waking up prospective buyers and sellers for this upcoming season. I've had several clients reaching out to start prepping their home for sale and ask questions about the market. Buyers are starting to revamp their search and meet with their lenders to talk numbers. Buyers who are financing, do still feel the squeeze of higher interest rates and are cautious to jump in. Anything in the mid 500's or below in Bend is proving to be very competitive here in the early market, so if you're shopping in that range, reach out to me for off market options. If you own a property in that range that is a rental, second home or your primary and you're looking to get out of town, this may be a good time in the market to capitalize on your sale. As always, feel free to reach out to discuss. - Greg
What's new with Mortgage Rates?
This is a scenario for top tier borrowers with 20% down and great credit. These rates and better can also be seen for other borrowers by using seller credits!
