Camp Sherman Store Up For Sale!
What can you get for $2.2 million these days? How about a piece of local history and a little slice of paradise with a river view, cold beer and sandwiches made to order. I have been visiting this beautiful area and fly fishing the Metolius River since I first moved to Central Oregon. The fact that communities like this still exist and thrive is one of the reasons I love living in Oregon. Who do you know looking for a change of pace and new business venture? I'll be the fishing guide!
Inventory and sales volume has picked up a bit with the onset of the Summer season, but we are still feeling a bit sluggish compared to recent years. Prices have bounced around but consistently hover around the 680k price range. I've noticed, in shopping with clients, that homes in the 550k range in Bend and 450k in Redmond are getting swooped up quickly and sometimes experiencing multiple offers. This is an "affordable" range for the normal working folk in these areas and the inventory just cant seem to keep up with the demand. This is why we see new home builders targeting that price range with new development (and it's working, they are selling fast!). If you are looking to break into the market, know that a networked agent such as myself can offer many extra opportunities to you through off market sellers, in office relationships and general time spent in "the trenches" hearing what's coming up soon. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to learn more. I would love to help get you into your new home! - Greg
