This time of year is when we typically see the seasonal swing of the market change direction and start warming up a bit. This Spring you can expect to see more listings become available, but the big unknown right now is Buyer motivation. With rates holding strong and many could be purchasers sitting on the sidelines, we are seeing longer days on market and more negotiating needed to bring a win-win deal together. Another thing to point out is the lack of lateral moves we are seeing in mid-priced homes, as owners are hesitant to upgrade or downgrade if it means losing their low interest rate mortgage.
